Boarding

Is boarding your dog at a kennel your best option?

A Yellow Lab is pictured sitting inside of a cage at a kennel. Looking sad, the dog is probably wondering where his owner is.

You have to be away from your fur baby, but do you want to board him in a traditional kennel? For some dogs, a stay at a kennel can be a positive experience. For many others, it’s not. Commercial boarding facilities, even the higher-end posh options, can be a traumatic experience for your pooch. Private boarding for dogs may be a better option!

Is your pup well suited to spend time in a strange, noisy, and possibly frightening environment? You may want to consider such factors as separation anxiety, noise sensitivity, overall health, and temperament. Other factors to take into account are any restrictions that traditional kennels may place on what pets they will accept for boarding.

ESP Pet Specialists can help alleviate their stress, thereby reducing your stress!

With our private boarding service, your pup will get a vacation too. We will board your dog (or dogs) with a loving family, employed by ESP Pet Specialists.

Private boarding means that your best friend will be the only guest. Only dogs from the same pack (i.e. “family”) are booked for boarding at the same time with the same Pet Specialist.

Before your first booking, we will arrange a free in-person Meet & Greet so that you, your dog(s), and the host family can get acquainted. While your pooch is staying with us you can expect to receive a daily photo journal so that you are fully informed about how your fur baby is doing each day that you are away.
